"How do Conservative principles impact the happiness and prosperity of all Americans?"

by Brady Allred

Conservative principals impact the happiness of all Americans in many ways. Americans should have every right to succeed but they should also be allowed to fail. Failure is not always a bad thing as some people believe, because failure promotes growth. Humans cannot grow if they are not able to fail and learn from mistakes and hard times.  The liberal represents a mother and the American people represent children. A mother has all pure intentions and would always help her children with whatever they need, but eventually they have to grow up and learn to live by themselves, or they do not ever fully develop. This is the case with the government as well, so the US citizens can be independent and not always relying on the government to take care of them.

There are many Americans in bad situations as well as good, that would prefer the government stayed out of there way and let them try to stand alone. Many, if not most people in the U.S. would not turn down money from anyone, but if we hand it to them for every single thing then they will come to expect it and never work out their own problems. A little help is good but a lot of help is bad. Not to mention we cannot afford to be giving out money to the citizens that we don’t have, it would be the benefit of everyone to pay off our debt to all other countries and to take care of the country in general.

Americans are losing all desire and knowledge to work for things they have and need, and expect it to be handed to them on a silver platter. Laziness is spreading quickly enough through the world through the use of electronics, the last thing the next generation of Americans need, is to have all the things they need in life to be given to them through things such as unemployment, welfare, and other minority programs.

The idea of natural selection comes to mind often on this subject. Survival of the fittest may seem a horrible and drastic thing, but it is not so. Americans will adapt and learn to work and develop values. The American people will become strong and the country will become strong. Artificial selection turned the powerful and wise wolf, into a Chihuahua. A small pathetic life form totally dependent on the superior beings it lives with, wolves have been around and taking care of themselves without the aid of humans for many thousands of years. This is what our country could and should become, unless we wish to live under the influence and power of greater nations. Conservative principles will ultimately bring happiness to the American citizens and enable them to become strong and not rely on other countries to control us.

We need less involvement from the government, and the enabling of a free market among the people. The government should be more concerned with the people coming into the country and the things they bring with them. They should be concerned with the protection of the country from enimies and let the people govern themselves in a controlled order.
