Meet the Candidates Night
On Tuesday, October 4, we hosted a Meet the Candidates Night and Central Committee Meeting at Rocky Mountain Middle School. We heard speeches from the following candidates and elected officials:

Phill Wright- State GOP Vice-Chair
Lisa Shepherd- State GOP Secretary
David Damschen- State Treasurer
Alisa Ellis- State School Board

Tom Hansen- School Board-Midway

We want to give a special thank you to the following individuals:

  • Principal Justin Kelly and his custodial staff for allowing us to use Rocky Mountain Middle School and for helping us with set-up and clean-up

Information on Voting in the General Election
We remind you that all registered voters in Wasatch County will receive a mail-in-ballot for this general election. (In fact, 21 of the 29 counties in Utah will be voting with the mail-in-ballot.) There will not be traditional polling stations. Make sure your voter registration information is current, and please be aware of the following deadlines:

Oct. 11: Last day to register to vote by mailing a registration form
No later than Oct. 18, 2016: Absentee and vote by mail ballots are mailed to voters.
Oct. 25: Early voting begins.
Nov. 1: Last day to register to vote online at voter.utah.gov or at a county clerk’s office.
Nov. 3: Last day to request an absentee/mail ballot.
Nov. 4: Early voting ends.
Nov. 8: General Election
